San Diego Comic-Con Málaga 2026: Pop Culture Takes Over the City Again

From October 1 to 4, Málaga will once again become one of the major international meeting points for pop culture with the second edition of San Diego Comic-Con Málaga.

After welcoming more than 95,000 attendees in its first edition, the event returns to FYCMA with more space, new content and over 300 hours of programming dedicated to film, TV series, comics, anime, video games and cosplay.

From San Diego to Málaga

San Diego Comic-Con Málaga is the first official expansion of the legendary San Diego Comic-Con outside the United States, a major milestone for the city and another example of Málaga’s growing international profile.

For four days, fans, artists, actors, creators and industry professionals will come together in the city to enjoy premieres, meet-ups, panels, workshops, exhibitions and unique experiences.

What can we expect this year?

The 2026 edition will welcome some big names from international pop culture. Confirmed guests include Elijah Wood and Sean Astin, known worldwide for The Lord of the Rings; Aya Cash, from The Boys; Charles Martinet, the iconic voice of Mario; as well as leading figures from the worlds of comics, anime and video games.

There will also be more than 90 artists at Artists' Alley, autograph sessions, cosplay, gaming, board games, concerts, workshops and activities for the whole family.
