Our History
Welcome Málaga was born from the union of four people with a shared purpose: to make moving to Málaga a smooth, personal, and human experience.
It all started with Luis, Alfonso, and Marta — three lawyers from Málaga, specialized among other things in immigration. Over the years, they helped hundreds of people obtain their residence permits in Spain. Eventually, Alfonso realized something essential: getting a visa or residence was only the first step. Newcomers needed much more — a home, a school, medical guidance, help opening a bank account, registering their address, finding a mechanic or a trusted pediatrician.
They knew every corner of Málaga and had a network of contacts like no other, so they naturally found themselves offering this kind of support, simply because they knew who to call and how to solve it.
If someone embodies that spirit, it’s Marta — a true social powerhouse, with contagious energy and the ability to connect even with the most difficult landlord. Her positivity and warmth make even the most complicated processes feel easy. And then there’s Luis, the solution master of the team. With an exceptional ability to analyze any situation, he always finds the fastest, smartest, most creative way out. And if no path exists, he invents one.
That’s when they decided to create Welcome Málaga — a company that could provide this same support in a professional, structured way, while keeping the human touch that had always defined them.
That’s when Rita joined — daughter of a Malagueña, a corporate professional, and someone whose life has always been closely connected to international mobility. She has lived in several cities and countries, and knows well what it means to start from scratch in a new place: the excitement, but also the uncertainty, the paperwork, and the endless questions. From that personal experience, she knew she could bring real value to the project — combining her background with a strong sense of empathy, adaptability, and practical thinking.
From this combination — legal expertise, local knowledge, a solid network, and a deep understanding of the adaptation process — Welcome Málaga was born: the number one relocation company in the city.
