From October 24, 2025, to January 18, 2026, the Carmen Thyssen Museum Málaga presents Rembrandt the Printmaker, an exceptional exhibition dedicated to the most intimate and technical side of the Dutch master Rembrandt van Rijn.
The exhibition brings together 35 engravings from the Lázaro Galdiano Museum in Madrid, shown outside their collection for the very first time. Through portraits, self-portraits, and biblical scenes, visitors can appreciate Rembrandt’s mastery of light, texture, and emotional depth—qualities that made him one of the most innovative artists of the European Baroque.
Rembrandt the Printmaker invites the public to explore the detail and expressive power of a technique where the artist pushed the limits of black and white to tell universal stories.
It’s an unmissable event for art lovers and for anyone wishing to experience Málaga’s rich cultural life beyond its beaches and terraces.
