Beaches and outdoor activities on the Costa del Sol.

Thanks to Malaga's warm climate practically all year round, many outdoor activities are very popular in the area. If you are a nature and adventure lover, this destination is perfect for you.

  • Chiringuitos. emblematic beachfront establishments that offer a unique and relaxed dining experience. They are found all along the coast, from Nerja to Manilva, and are an integral part of the Andalusian coastal culture and lifestyle. Highlights include dishes such as sardines al espeto, pescaíto frito, prawns, boquerones (anchovies) and octopus.

  • Water sports. We find a wide variety of water sports such as surfing, diving, or snorkeling in the underwater caves and reefs of Maro and Nerja, you can rent kayaks and paddle boards on many main beaches, sailing in Benalmadena or Estepona, and also sport fishing.

  • Beaches. You can find beautiful beaches all along the coast, many of which offer activities such as water sports and beach volleyball and football, and of course, you can also relax on the sun loungers or the sand and sunbathe.

  • Maro Waterfall, It is a waterfall that flows directly into the sea, which makes it especially impressive. It can be accessed through kayak excursions from the beach of Burriana or through a hiking trail that starts in Maro.

  • The most irresistible ice cream parlors in Malaga. There is no better way to enjoy the sun than with a delicious ice cream. We recommend Casa Mira, founded in 1890 and is one of the most emblematic of Malaga for its turron and homemade ice cream. Heladería Inma is known for its creamy ice cream and high range of flavors. Freskitto is a modern ice cream parlor specializing in milkshakes and creative handmade ice creams.

  • Vía Verde Route. It is a 17km disused railway route converted into a trail for cyclists, walkers, and hikers. This greenway offers an excellent opportunity to enjoy the nature and scenery of the province of Malaga. You can rent bicycles at various points along the route.

  • Golf: The Costa del Sol, often called the “Costa del Golf”, is one of the world's most prestigious and popular golf destinations. With more than 70 golf courses, this region offers a variety of options for golfers of all levels.

In short, the favorable climate, the diversity of landscapes, the wide range of activities available, and the outdoor culture make Malaga and the Costa del Sol an ideal destination to enjoy nature and the outdoors.
